This seems to happen every year. I tell myself in January that I am going to keep up with my webpage and post at least every month, but time gets away from me and here I am 2-3 months later trying to play catch up. Not that anyone is paying attention…but I am paying attention.
So we have about 6 weeks until NaNaWriMo. I am very excited about it and look forward to starting my search for music and my research into writing this year’s book. I can give you the basis for the book, but that is about all. I am a gardener in that I have a seed of an idea and won’t know what comes from that seed until I start writing. Last year I thought my book was going to go in one direction when, in fact, it went in a totally different direction. The book truly wrote itself. So this year I have a seed of the story and my two main characters…let’s see what grows from the seed.
I am currently still revising my NaNo book from last year. I loved it so much that I have decided to use this one as the one I submit to agents. So I am working on it and when I am done I will submit it. Then I will work on my NaNo book in November. Then I will go back to the third book in the Paul Jakarta Chronicles and finish that one to self-publish it. I fell in love with the book from NaNo 2014. I truly hope someone will represent me and it will be picked up by a publishing house. I think it is an amazing book. I haven’t said that about any of the books I have written. But, then again, this is the book that wrote itself. I can’t take credit for it.
So I will try to keep up with everything. If you are ever in the neighborhood, I also write daily devotionals at www.timeout4god.com. Hope to see you there!
